The key to a great advanced manufacturing or logistics career? Education.

Scholarships

There’s never enough money to go around. That’s true whether you’re a teacher looking for training dollars or a student looking to pay for college coursework. To address these perpetual shortfalls, Conexus Indiana makes funding available to help on both sides of the educational divide – for teacher training and student scholarships.

These training and scholarship dollars are provided by Conexus Indiana to support enrollment in programs that teach the very skills the Hoosier advanced manufacturing and logistics industries need. How do we know? Because we asked them. In 2009 Conexus pulled together industry representatives to participate in an advanced manufacturing task force and a logistics task force. The goal of the task forces was simple: Identify those skills necessary to succeed in each industry. Matching scholarship dollars to programs that teach these skills, and educator training funds to coursework that promotes these skills, was a no-brainer.

Manufacturing jobs pay 40% more than the Indiana average income.
