In the coming years, career opportunities in advanced manufacturing and logistics will be rife across Indiana – for students who are prepared. The age of mindless assembly work has passed, leaving in its wake a new generation of advanced manufacturing and logistics industries. Careers in these industries now run on technology, requiring a more highly-skilled workforce than ever before.
These jobs aren’t for just anybody. But, for those students who are mechanically inclined, are interested in how things are made, have a keen eye for computers, or are excited by technologies like robotics, then advanced manufacturing and logistics may be right up their alley.
