When you think music and entertainment, do you think Indiana? Maybe you should. Not just the home of John Mellencamp and Michael Jackson, the Hoosier state is involved in all sorts of music manufacturing. As you’re cruising down the Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds highway (yep, Pink’s famous music producer is from here!), think about this: That stereo in your car might just be an Alpine stereo manufactured in Greenwood, Indiana. Sony’s largest U.S. disc manufacturing plant is located in Terre Haute, making west central Indiana vital to both your Xbox and your disc player. And if you’ve ever picked up a trumpet or saxophone, there’s a good chance it was made at Elkhart’s Conn-Selmer manufacturing facility. In fact, former President Bill Clinton got his sax there.
